For Honor Gets A New Hero For Season 2 Year 3 Update
By Syazwan Bahri|April 25, 2019|0 Comment
Ubisoft has announced today that the new hero, Hitokiri, will be joining the Samurai Faction in For Honor with the launch of the game’s third year Season 2 update, aptly titled ‘Sakura’. This update will be live for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 2 May and will see more than just a new hero, but with new maps, seasonal events and much more.
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lom8dib3AWg]The Hitokiri are ghostly warriors who have lost all faith in humanity. They wander the land clutching their Masakari, the mighty axes they used to sentence criminals, their presence on the battlefield spreading a black cloud that can terrify all enemies. This new archetype will have both female and male versions: Sakura and Yato. The heroes will be immediately available for Year 3 Pass owners, while other players can unlock them for 15,000 Steel.
Year 3 Season 2 will introduce more heroes to the roster, focusing on the Lawbringer and the Raider. A new map, Canopy, is also in the works and will be released together with Hitokiri.
Players who are looking to receive seven days of exclusive access to the new heroes at launch, as well as other rewards, can pick up the Year 3 Pass which is now available and is included in the For Honor Complete Edition bundle.
If you’re interested in a first look of the new update, there will be a special Warrior’s Den livestream on 26 April on the For Honor Twitch channel here.
