With a high-profile animation studio like Group TAC backing its kick-ass scenes, the Street Fighter animated film can just be a bunch of highlight fights among its cast and call it a day. Luckily, there’s some plot development going on so that we’re invested in Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, and Guile.

Granted, it’s a thin one that culminates into one big macho showdown, but at least this movie knows what it wants to be and has a grand time showcasing it. Also, you can’t go wrong with a Chun-Li showering scene that’s capped off with brutal fist vs claw action.
