TSM Wins First Place At Apex Legends EXP Invitational

Over the recent weekend, the biggest Apex Legends offline tournament (so far) was held at X Games Minneapolis. The EXP Invitational saw 20 squads battling across 12 matches to become the champions of Respawn’s popular battle royale game.

Team SoloMid (TSM) emerged as champion and brought home the grand prize of US$30,000. Though they didn’t rack up the most kills, TSM consistently secured high placements throughout their matches.

On day one, TSM was already leading with 62 points and they maintained their top spot and won with 125 points on day two. Just 5 points above second placer Team Reciprocity (TR).

Coming in at third and fourth places were Sentinels and Fnatic who won US$21,000 and US$18,000 respectively.

The next major Apex Legends tournament will be the Apex Legends Preseason Invitational which will be the first ever international Apex Legends tournament organised by EA and Respawn Entertainment.

The Preseason Invitational will have a US$500,000 prize pool, the biggest in any Apex Legends esports event.

The Preseason Invitational will be held in Krakow, Poland from 13 September to 15 September 2019. The two top winners of the EXP Invitational have been invited to compete in the tournament.
