We’re only one month away from the release of Pokémon Sword and Shield, so fans are expectedly eager for any and all details regarding those games. Thanks to the latest issue of Japanese magazine CoroCoro Ichiban (via ResetEra), several new Gigantamax forms of classic Pokémon have been revealed.
These include the following fan-favourite Pokémon:
It’s not surprising that these Pokémon would get Gigantamax forms, considering how popular they still are. Personally, the best-looking one for me would have to be Charizard’s, with its flaming shoulder pads and Godzilla-like stature.
Here’s a closer look at the classic Pokemon’s Gigantamax forms.

For those unfamiliar with the new familiar, Gigantamax causes a Pokémon to both grow in size and change their appearance, and gives them access to a special G-Max Move. Previously, only three species had confirmed Gigantamax forms, including Alcremie, Drednaw, and Corviknight.
Pokémon Sword And Shield is slated to release exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on 15 November 2019. In the meantime, check out the trailer below.
