Death Stranding Sam Nendoroid Delivers The Full Package

Despite the divisive opinions regarding Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding late last year, no one can deny that it was a phenomenon at launch. Now, Good Smile Company has announced two Nendoroid figures of the game’s protagonist, Sam Porter Bridges (portrayed by Norman Reedus).

The standard version is priced at 5,200 yen (or roughly RM194+) while the Great Deliverer version comes with many more accessories for 8,800 yen (or roughly RM329+). Both versions of the Nendoroid are fully articulated, featuring detailed recreations of Sam’s equipment from the game.

With the use of special modelling techniques, a tiny version of BB has been faithfully recreated within Sam’s BB Pod, as well as an Odradek Terrain Scanner that features several points of articulation, making it easy to change its position. Sam can also be posed holding a Cryptobiote, which he eats in the game to restore his blood gauge.

Meanwhile, the Great Deliverer version includes an additional four small silver cargo cases, four large silver cargo cases, four small gold cargo cases, four large gold cargo cases and four navy cargo cases. That’s a whopping total of 21 cargo cases. Just like in the game, these cases can be loaded onto Sam’s back, attached to his suit or held in his hands.

It also includes additional head parts for Sam, including one with his hair down and another with his hood up. The former can even be further customized with a pair of sunglasses.

You can already pre-order any of the two Nendoroid Sam Porter Bridges from now until 19 March 2020, but it is only expected to release sometime in August 2020. In the meantime, check it out below:
