The Overwatch League’s March Matches Have Been Postponed
By Melvyn Tan|March 20, 2020|0 Comment
A week ago, the Overwatch League said that they would be cancelling some events but continue with their March matches. That’s no longer the case.
In a brief statement, the Overwatch League announced that those matches would be postponed.
“For the overall safety and well-being of our players, teams and staffs, and in alignment with California’s statewide ‘stay at home’ order, we are cancelling this weekend’s scheduled Overwatch League competition,” they said. “We will share more details on match rescheduling and look forward to returning to action soon.”
Those matches were originally meant to be broadcast without a live audience, but with the “stay at home” order, fans will be unable to enjoy even that for now. Still, safety first.
In the meantime, entertain yourself with some past Overwatch League highlights from a month ago.
