This Creepy Horror Adventure Game Comes From A Malaysian Studio

Cellar Vault Games is an indie game developer team based in Malaysia, and they have unveiled their latest game; Short Creepy Tales: 7PM. It’s a horror adventure visual novel game, and it looks creepy as heck, especially considering that it revolves around the Chinese Hungry Ghost Festival.

Short Creepy Tales 7pm 2

The description for the game on Steam reads:

Follow the shared experience of three children for a day during ghost-month and the arrival of a young mysterious new neighbor.

Things quickly take a dark turn as what was supposed to be an offer of friendship triggers a series of strange events.

Built using Unreal Engine 4, Short Creepy Tales: 7PM is the first formal instalment of an anthology horror series by Cellar Vault Games. Taking place in a small low-cost apartment block.

Players experience one day as each of the three children living there and their attempts to invite a young mysterious new neighbour to play with them. The narrative will change based on choices made by players, and some tasks require players to do more than just engage in dialogue.

Short Creepy Tales: 7PM is slated to launch sometime in September 2020. However, no official price has been listed at the time of writing. In the meantime, check out the trailer below:
