Apple ID Users Can No Longer Sign Into Fortnite After Tomorrow
By Alleef Ashaari|September 10, 2020|0 Comment
Last month, Epic Games announced that Apple is terminating Epic Games developer accounts and cutting Epic Games off from its Mac and iOS development tools starting from 28 August 2020, effecting rendering Fortnite unplayable on iOS platforms.
Now, the war continues with yet another development.
Epic Games has announced that Fortnite players won’t be able to sign into their Epic Games accounts using their Apple ID after 11 September 2020.
To maintain access to their accounts, Epic is advising players who previously signed up with their Apple IDs to update their accounts with their current email and password.
However, even for those who don’t make these changes before 11 September 2020, Epic has a means of recovering account access through email, according to the official support page.
The next scheduled court date for Apple vs Epic Games will be on 28 September 2020.
