Article originally published on 1st September.Â
With COVID-19 wrecking every public event for games, online is the way to go for these exhibitions. Luckily, the Computer Entertainment Suppliers Association are prepared to do just that with Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online.
The organization just released the live stream schedule for their showcases via the Tokyo Game Show YouTube channel. Here are the highlights:
-24th September (Thursday) will have Xbox doing their Game Show showcase 2020. This is followed up with Square Enix(who has their own timetable of stuff going on) and Lightning Games. The latter will have some indie games like Hardcore Mecha, HAAK, and ANNO: Mutationem.
-25th September (Friday) will have Sega and Atlus showcasing their upcoming titles. We’re guessing another Yakuza game, a new Sonic(?) game, some tidbits on Shin Megami Tensei V, and a new Persona title. Capcom will also show off more Resident Evil Village.
-On 26th September (Saturday), D3 Publisher will show off Earth Defense Force: World Brothers, while a Cygames-sanctioned Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle tournament will take place. Koei Tecmo and Tencent will also appear and show off new titles too.
-On the last day, 27th September (Sunday), we’ll be getting a special Koei Tecmo Dynasty Warriors 20th Anniversary livestream, a Bandai Namco Sword Art Online and Scarlet Nexus special program, a Genshin Impact pre-launch live-stream, and a PUBG esports tournament to cap off the show.
You can tune to the livestream here on the 24th September onward. Full schedule right after the video which you can use right now to set a reminder for. All times are in GMT+8 (Malaysia, Singapore, The Philippines, etc.)
