Civilization VI December Update Adds City-State Picker & More
By Alleef Ashaari|December 18, 2020|0 Comment
The Civilization VI December 2020 update is now live, introducing a series of changes and balance tweaks. The highlight of the update is the City-State Picker, a new game setup option which allows players to choose which City-States they would like to include in their next game.
City-States will be listed by type, and players can simply check/uncheck the ones you want for your list. However, this won’t confirm that every city state on the player’s list will appear in the match, but the game will draw from your list of options.
Another highlight is the “Stop Asking Me” option for AI factions. Players can add that option for AI friendship and peace requests, option to deal items requested by the AI, and for trades and agreements.
General changes include dropping combat bonuses against anti-cavalry units, and Gathering Storm specific changes to amenities, social policies, and technologies. The Pirates mode has been tweaked as well.
You can check out the full patch notes here.
