Loki & Star Wars The Bad Batch Release Dates Revealed
Disney Plus has announced the release dates for the upcoming Marvel Studios’ Loki TV series and the Star Wars The Bad Batch animated series.
Star Wars The Bad Batch is slated to premiere on 4 May 2021, which will be Star Wars Day this day (May the Fourth be with you), while Loki is slated to premiere on 11 June 2021.
Star Wars The Bad Batch was initially announced back in July 2020, but it is only one of ten Star Wars shows being developed for Disney Plus. The Bad Batch was originally introduced in the final season of Star Wars The Clone Wars, and they were the focus of the first major story arc in the aforementioned season. The Bad Batch is an elite clone commando squad consisting of four clone troopers designed with genetic mutations.
Meanwhile, Loki will see Tom Hiddleston reprise his role as the titular character in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers Endgame. Directed by Kate Herron and written by Michael Waldron, it will also star Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant.
