League Of Legends Arcane Animated Series Is Coming To Netflix This Fall

Netflix has announced that the League Of Legends Arcane animated series will be debuting exclusively on the streaming platform sometime in fall 2021. It was originally announced back in October 2019 during Riot Games’ MOBA franchise’s 10th-anniversary live stream.

Little is known about League Of Legends Arcane, but it looks like the main characters will be Jinx, Vi, and Victor, amongst others. Fans can also look forward to the setting of Piltover and Zaun.

The synopsis reads:

From the creators of League of Legends comes a new animated series, Arcane.

Set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League champions-and the power that will tear them apart.

It’s definitely interesting that rivals Valve’s Dota 2 and Riot Games’ League Of Legends are both releasing their animated series adaptations on the same platform; Netflix. You can check out my review of Dota 2 Dragon’s Blood animated series here.

In the meantime, you can check out the teaser trailer below.
