Rogue Spirit, the anime-inspired 3D rogue-lite action game from developer Kids With Sticks and publisher 505 Games, adds the deadly Reaver character, a new Forest biome, a fiery boss, and much more in today’s December update.

Players can possess the body of a Reaver to wield the lethal Kusarigama, which can be used to hook enemies with this sickle and chain hybrid, causing constant damage while fending off other attackers. While perfecting those skills, they can explore the new Forest biome. This former place of worship once drew pilgrims from all over the Kingdom of Midra. Now it hides horrors like the Aspect of Decay boss, a lantern-wielding firestarter.

In addition, players can learn the ways of flame with two new skills: the slow-but-destructive Fire Tornado and the teleporting Blink ability. Overcome the new Dash Kick encounter, where the only way to win is to defeat all enemies solely with the dash move. Cheat death with Amara, a familiar with resurrection powers, providing an extra life.

Rogue Spirit is currently available on Steam Early Access for RM50 and is slated to launch fully in 2022.
