Developer Asylum Square and publisher Gameforge unveils a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming retro-style action platformer, Tiny Thor.

Players assume the role of the son of Odin who has just been bestowed with the legendary Mjölnir hammer. It tells a “story of a boy taking responsibility” and must face almighty adversaries in becoming a true god. The game features tight controls, fast-paced action, environmental puzzles, unique boss fights, and more.

The new trailer highlights its gameplay elements, as well as some of the enemies and a variety of levels for players to explore and conquer. The Mjölnir hammer can be freely aimed and bounces off surfaces and enemies, enabling all kinds of trick shots. It can also solve environmental puzzles which can ricochet off of objects to defeat enemies in unique ways. The hammer’s abilities enable players to move from one obstacle to another with precision shots. Thor will be able to master special abilities along the way in adventuring over 30 handcrafted levels that are spread across three separate realms of Asgard, each with its own set of challenges and evil bosses.

Asylum Square has yet announced the release date of the game, but we do know that the action platformer will be released sometime in the second quarter of 2023 for Nintendo Switch and PC. You can download the demo now on Steam or wishlist it on Epic Games Store.
