HBO GO May 2023: Our Picks & Highlights

I’m sure you won’t want to waste time sifting through HBO GO’s extensive catalogue of shows and movies just to decide on what to watch. The streaming site updates its site every day, week, and month with new content, so I’m here to save your precious time.
Here are my personal recommendations and highlights for HBO GO May 2023 lineup and how to fill up your free time with worthwhile content at home:
White House Plumbers takes the audience behind-the-scenes of the Watergate scandal as Nixon’s political saboteurs, E. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy accidentally topple the presidency they were zealously trying to protect… and their families along with it. Chronicling actions on the ground, this satirical drama begins in 1971 when the White House hires Hunt and Liddy, former CIA and FBI, respectively, to investigate the Pentagon Papers leak. After failing upward, the unlikely pair lands on the Committee to Re-Elect the President, plotting several unbelievable covert ops – including bugging the Democratic National Committee offices at the Watergate complex. Stars Woody Harrelson, Justin Theroux, Lena Headey, Judy Greer, Domhnall Gleeson, Toby Huss, Ike Barinholtz and Kathleen Turner.
Premieres Tuesday, May 2 on HBO GO.
Two estranged sisters, who happen to be “good” vampires, reunite when their younger (human) sister is kidnapped by the worst vampire. The sisters spring into action before their nemesis can unlock the secret to creating a race of super vampires. Stars Jocelyn Hudon, Grace Van Dien, Sean Maguire, Christopher Russell and Pauline Dyer.

Finney Shaw, a shy but clever 13-year-old boy, is abducted by a sadistic killer and trapped in a soundproof basement where screaming is of little use. When a disconnected phone on the wall begins to ring, Finney discovers that he can hear the voices of the killer’s previous victims. And they are dead set on making sure that what happened to them doesn’t happen to Finney. Stars Ethan Hawke and Mason Thames.

A group of college friends rent a smart house for a weekend of partying. However, they slowly start to realise that Margaux, the house’s super advanced AI system, has sinister plans for them. Stars Madison Pettis, Vanessa Morgan, Jedidiah Goodacre, Phoebe Miu, Jordan Buhat and Richard Harmon.

On June 3, 2017, 25-year-old former American intelligence specialist Reality Winner is confronted by FBI agents arriving at her home to question her suspected role in the mishandling of classified information. Based on true events, the film’s dialogue is taken directly from the transcript of their tense and transfixing conversation. Stars Sydney Sweeney, Josh Hamilton, and Marchánt Davis.
