Hi-Fi Rush Now Available on PlayStation 5

Following an unexpected release last year for Xbox Series X/S and PC, Tango Gameworks’ Hi-Fi Rush is now available on the PlayStation 5. The game includes all post-launch updates and introduces two new modes to the Arcade Challenge.

Hi-Fi Rush is a single-player rhythm action game from Tango Gameworks, the award-winning studio behind Ghostwire: Tokyo and The Evil Within. In Hi-Fi Rush, the entire world moves to the beat. Everything from the trees swaying in the environment to each hit landed during combat auto-syncs to the game’s music with stellar animations.

Player assumes the role of Chai, a carefree individual who dreams of becoming a successful rockstar. However, his carefree attitude is disrupted when he undergoes a technological procedure to receive a robotic arm. During this procedure, he encounters a surprising “bonus” when his favourite music player is inadvertently fused into his power unit. Unfortunately, the company behind the experiment perceives him as a “defect,” leading to his designation as a target for deactivation. Chai finds himself surrounded by a formidable squad of corporate overlords and an army of robots, all determined to eliminate him. To survive, Chai must rely on his rhythmic combat abilities alongside the assistance of a motley crew of allies to take down the company’s ruthless business leaders and escape their clutches.

The game comes in two distinct editions: Standard and Deluxe. The Standard Edition retails for $29.99 and only has a copy of the base game, while the Deluxe Edition is $39.99 and features bonus cosmetics and extra Gears to spend on upgrades via the PlayStation Store.

Hi-Fi Rush on PlayStation 5 not only offers a thrilling gaming experience but also introduces exciting post-launch updates and modes. Among the highlights is the inclusion of the Arcade Challenge! Update! This new addition allows players to push their limits and see how far and fast they can progress in BPM Rush. By achieving impressive scores, they can unlock powerful abilities and climb to the highest positions in the Power Up! Tower Up!

Plus, players can express their creativity by striking a pose with Photo Mode. It is important to note that players will gain access to BPM Rush and Power Up! Tower Up! after completing the main story campaign. Once unlocked, these features can be accessed from the Hideout.

Hi-Fi Rush is out now for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. We gave it a glowing review here.
