Quantic Dream Promotes Own Game Amidst “Black Lives Matter” Protests
In recent news of an outspoken game developer company who do not know how to read the room, Quantic Dream’s co-CEO Guillaume de Fondaumière posted a seemingly innocuous tweet. The Tweet was about the recent protests and riots going on in the US of A concerning the death of George Floyd caused by police brutality.
Why was this a screenshot? Because it was taken down and was replaced with this.

See the problem here? The message is fine, until the very last sentence about Detroit: Become Human popped up. The tweet was received as well as you expect from a tone-deaf mouthpiece.
It’s no secret that corporations are masquerading as philanthropists as a means to shill and sell their products. But to say it outright or allude to a recent product that’s going to come out on PC? That’s just asking for trouble.
