These PS5 Games Are Also Coming To The PS4

It looks like not all the PS5 games will be exclusive just for the next-gen console.

According to PlayStation Blog, Sony Interactive Entertainment will release Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Forbidden West, Sumo Digital’s Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales for the PS4, alongside the PS5.

Sony Interactive Entertainment president and CEO Jim Ryan said:

“While these three games [including Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales] were designed to take advantage of PlayStation 5 and its unique next-gen features like the ultra-high-speed SSD and DualSense controller, PlayStation 4 owners will also be able to enjoy these experiences when they launch.

The PlayStation 4 digital versions of launch games include a free upgrade on both PlayStation 5 consoles, while the PlayStation 4 disc versions of these games include a free upgrade on the PlayStation 5 with Ultra HD Blu-Ray disc drive.”

Both Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales are slated to release on 12 (or 19) November 2020 as launch titles. However, Horizon Forbidden West is slated to release sometime in 2021.
