Malaysian Cinemas Nationwide Are Shutting Down Until Further Notice
By Alleef Ashaari|October 30, 2020|0 Comment
Major Malaysian cinemas like GSC and TGV are closing down all their branches in Malaysia for the time being, The decision was reached after the Malaysian Association Of Film Exhibitors (MAFE) ordered all cinemas in the country to suspend operations.
In addition, the lack of movie releases (most of which have been delayed to next year) have caused massive losses to the Malaysian cinema industry. However, they will be monitoring the situation from time to time.
GSC Cinemas will be closing down until the end of November 2020, but TGV Cinemas doesn’t give an estimated time frame. We hope that the cinema industry will rebound from this as soon as possible, despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
It looks like we won’t be able to play our games on the big screen after all.
