Rogue Company Is Now Free To Play In Open Beta

Rogue Company, a 4v4 team-based multiplayer shooter that originally launched in a closed beta in July 2020, is now free-to-play in open beta.

Developed by First Watch Games and published by Hi-Rez Studios, Rogue Company follows a mercenary group called the Rogues, with players tackling objective-based missions in 2v2 Wingman or 4v4 Extraction modes.

The game features crossplay across all platforms and that DLC will be purely cosmetic in nature.

Speaking with PCGamer, executive producer Chris Laron said:

“From July’s early access launch, we’ve gathered a huge community of over 2 million cross-platform gunslingers.

Their invaluable feedback has ensured the game keeps getting better and better.

By making the game free and delivering an ever-growing roster of mercenaries, game modes, weapons and gadgets we’re incredibly excited for many more players to join us in Rogue Company.”

As part of the open beta launch, Rogue Company is introducing a new playable Rogue named Dahlia, who is “an uncompromising former military officer and one of the most decorated squad leaders in the world”.

Rogue Company is now available on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC via Epic Games. In the meantime, check out the trailer below:
