By Alleef Ashaari|March 15, 2021|0 Comment
Steven Yeun has made history by being the first-ever Asian-American nominee in the Best Actor category. Yeun was nominated due to his amazing role in Lee Isaac Chung’s Minari.
Yeun is also best known for his roles as Glen Rhee in The Walking Dead TV series, Keith in Netflix’s Voltron Legendary Defender and Mark Grayson in the upcoming Invincible animated series on Amazon Prime.
Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter about his role in Minari, Yeun said:
“It was a truthful rending and honest rendering of people, of humans, that also resonated to me in a way that I could identify with culturally. I was like, ‘This is it. This is the one that my generation dreams of making about our parents.'”
