PlayStation Studios’ Steam Page Teases More Future PC Games
By Alleef Ashaari|May 17, 2021|0 Comment
The PlayStation Studios’ Steam Curator page is now live and it hints at future PC game releases. Game developers and publishers use Steam Curator pages to highlight games and content for sale on the Steam platform.
At the time of writing, PlayStation Studios’ Steam page lists 41 games and DLC, but what’s interesting is that only 24 pieces of content are actually currently visible. These include Horizon Zero Dawn, Predator Hunting Grounds and Helldivers, which are currently the only PlayStation PC titles available for purchase on Steam.
Meanwhile, Days Gone is slated to release tomorrow on 18 May 2021.
In an interview with GQ In February 2021, Sony Interactive Entertainment president and CEO Jim Ryan previously revealed that more PlayStation games are coming to PC starting with Days Gone in spring 2021.
He said:
“We find ourselves now in early 2021 with our development studios and the games that they make in better shape than they’ve ever been before.
Particularly from the latter half of the PS4 cycle our studios made some wonderful, great games.
There’s an opportunity to expose those great games to a wider audience and recognize the economics of game development, which are not always straightforward.
The cost of making games goes up with each cycle, as the caliber of the IP has improved.
Also, our ease of making it available to non-console owners has grown. So it’s a fairly straightforward decision for us to make.â€
Developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment Bend Studio, Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game that originally launched for PS4 in April 2019. In the meantime, check out our review of the game here.
