OPPO Partners With Riot Games For 2021 League Of Legends World Championship

Global tech brand OPPO has announced its partnership with Riot Games to sponsor the League of Legends World Championship 2021 (S11) today. The partnership was part of the company’s multi-year deal signed with Riot Games since 2019. This partnership will help OPPO further enhance its brand awareness among global esports players.

This year, OPPO will present the most valuable players awards to pro players who dominate the battlegrounds with otherworldly performances in the finals. OPPO will also bring gaming highlights as well as interviews of pro players and their teams to the audience, giving viewers the inside scoop of their progress to the final game.

OPPO Global Marketing Vice President William Liu said:

“It is our pleasure to continue this partnership with Riot Games this year. League of Legends provides OPPO a platform to let more gamers around the world get to know us better.

More importantly, the unyielding spirit of pro players is similar to OPPO’s relentless strive for innovation when it comes to products and technology.

We are constantly concentrated on delivering nothing short of excellence and creating unique experiences for our users.”

Riot Games Global Head Esports John Needham said:

“Based on the successful partnership last year, we are thrilled to have OPPO sponsor the League of Legends World Championship 2021.

As the first global smartphone partner for the game, OPPO has become one of the most impressive tech brands among global esports players.

We look forward to seeing what OPPO will bring to the audience in the finals.” said John Needham, Global Head of Esports at Riot Games.”

This year’s finals is the theme; “Make/Break”, which represents the courage and spirit to break the impossible and create new possibilities. In this pursuit of making the OPPO Find X series, the OPPO Find X3 Pro not only allows people to shoot and store the world in 10-bit colour but also boasts a screen display with over a billion colours.

In addition, the Find X3 Pro is equipped with in-house Color Vision Enhancement as part of ColorOS 11.2. It produces potential screen calibration and is optimally colour-corrected for people who suffer from colour vision deficiency. The outstanding colour capability and accessibility design on the Find X3 Pro is unprecedented.

It also features a Gaming Mode in ColorOS. When players toggle to Gaming Mode, the games that they are playing will no longer be disturbed by notifications, messages, and calls. Therefore, players can enjoy immersive gaming experiences uninterrupted.

OPPO hopes to become more engaged with the global esports community, believing that the spirit of the pro players in the finals will motivate viewers to make their wildest dreams come true.

The League of Legends World Championship 2021 (S11) invited elite teams from 11 countries and regions to the most high-stakes tournament ever. It kicked off on 5 October 2021 and will end with the finals on 6 November 2021 in Engjavegur 8, 104 Reykjavik, Iceland.
