Check Out Some Nightmarish Sons Of The Forest Multiplayer & Co-Op Building

It’s only a day or so until the survival adventure title sequel to The Forest comes out. At least, in Early Access mode for PC (Steam).

Still, the hype for Sons of the Forest is pretty high, and with that we have some new gameplay footage highlighting the multiplayer aspect of the cannibal tribe-filled survival title. Even if you’re playing the game in single-player mode, you’ll be joined by an AI companion named Kelvin who can help you out with menial tasks. The game’s main co-op mode allows up to eight players (alongside Kelvin) doing the survival jig together. Players can team up exploring, building, fighting, and resource-gathering. Get ready to chop that wood, buddy (via IGN)!

So far, the building and constructing looks more freeform than in the original game. And having players and helpers with you can help especially when the cannibal tribes start invading the place. It won’t be easy even with multiplayer, as enemies can take multiple arrow shots to the body, though a headshot will kill them. Hope you have a party ready: Sons Of The Forest Early Access for PC will be out on 23 February GMT+8 afternoon.
