Blizzard Announces New Hearthstone Expansion Saviors Of Uldum

Blizzard Entertainment has announced a new Hearthstone expansion, Saviors Of Uldum. It is set to be the sequel to Rise Of Shadows and The Dalaran Heist from earlier this year, as part of the digital card game’s year-long story arc for 2019.

In Hearthstone Saviors Of Uldum, players will join the League Of Explorers in the fight against the League Of E.V.I.L. There will be new Plague cards with powerful, board-sweeping effects and the Reborn; restless mummified minions that come back to un-life (with just 1 Health remaining) upon being defeated.

Players can complete all-new Quests, a returning mechanic featuring game-changing objective cards that are now easier to achieve and reward players with powerful alternate Hero Powers.

Hearthstone Saviors Of Uldum card packs can be obtained by winning matches in Arena Mode or purchased with in-game gold or real money. Those who log in for a limited time (by 30 October 2019) after release will be able to claim one of the new Legendary Quest cards.

Players can pre-purchase Saviors of Uldum card packs in two different bundle options:

  • 50-pack bundle, which includes a random golden Legendary card and the Elise Starseeker card pack – US$49.99
  • 80-pack Mega Bundle, which includes those bonuses along with the new playable Elise Starseeker Druid Hero – US$79.99

The Hearthstone Saviors Of Uldum expansion is slated to release on 6 August 2019. In the meantime, check out the cinematic trailer below.
