Rocket League Is Now Free To Play On PC
Rejoice, Asian gamers and cheapskates thrifty purveyors of multiplayer games. Psyonix’s incredibly popular esports football car-based title Rocket League is going free-to-play soon.Â
If you played it on Steam and bought it previously, don’t fret: you can still keep playing the game in its free-to-play form and get 200+ free items out of it. These include:
If you’re new to the game, you’ll need to pick up your copy from Epic Games Store. So far, the F2P deal has been the biggest change for the game since Psyonix was bought by Epic. The Epic Games exclusivity may make it kind of a black sheep among PC gamers, but hopefully that backlash will subside.
