New Raya And The Last Dragon Poster Unveiled Ahead Of Trailer Tomorrow

Disney has released a new promotional poster for Raya And The Last Dragon in anticipation of the unveiling of its first-ever trailer tomorrow. Check out the awesome poster below (courtesy of GSC Cinemas):
The synopsis for the movie reads:
Long ago, in the fantasy world of Kumandra, humans and dragons lived together in harmony.
But when sinister monsters known as the Druun threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity.
Now, 500 years later, those same monsters have returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the last dragon in order to finally stop the Druun for good.
However, along her journey, she’ll learn that it’ll take more than dragon magic to save the world; it’s going to take trust as well.
Raya And The Last Dragon will feature the voices of Awkwafina as Raya and Cassie Steele as Sisu the dragon. However, no additional details have been revealed as of yet. While the movie is inspired by Southeast Asian legends and folklore (as well as written by Malaysian-born screenwriter Adele Lim), it’s unclear from which country the main premise of the movie originates from.
Earlier this year, Disney delayed their upcoming animated movie Raya And The Last Dragon to 12 March 2021, due to the uncertainty of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This means that we won’t be getting a single feature film from Walt Disney Animation Studios in 2020 (if we don’t count Pixar’s Onward and the upcoming Pixar’s Soul).
