Hyped for The Game Awards 2018? Before that arrives, catch The PlayStation Awards 2018 next week on Monday, December 3, 2018. How? It will be streamed live via YouTube, and we have embedded the video (English) below for your convenience.
The PS Awards 2018 will officially recognize titles that have been released on the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita from October 1, 2017, to September 30, 2018. Therefore, games like Marvel’s Spider-Man and God of War will be included but not more recent games like Red Dead Redemption 2.
Unfortunately, public voting for the PlayStation Awards 2018 closed on October 8, 2018. Those who did vote stands a chance of winning prizes like consoles and exclusive merchandise. The event will be moderated by Jon Kabira and Hatsune Matsushima, as well as take place at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa in Tokyo, Japan.
The PlayStation Awards 2018 will actually be the 24th edition of the event. This year’s event will introduce the Gold Prize and Platinum Prize awards. The former will be awarded to games that have sold over half a million copies in Japan and Asia, while the latter will be given to games with sales exceeding a million copies in those same regions.
The PlayStation Awards 2018 live stream will be available in both Japanese and English. The live stream officially begins on December 3, 2018, at 4.45 p.m. Japan Standard Time. That translates to 3.45 p.m. Malaysian time on the very same day (which also applies to other GMT+8 countries like Singapore, Philippines, Taiwan, etc).
