The synopsis reads:

As Established At The End Of Loki Season 1, He Who Remains Is Revealed As The Founder Of The Time Variance Authority (TVA)

With the Sacred Timeline now becoming a Multiverse and the death of He Who Remains in Loki Season 1, Loki informs the TVA that He Who Remains was the true founder of the TVA. Everyone at the TVA has also discovered that they were all Variants who were kidnapped, mind-wiped and put to work for the TVA.

Ke Huy Quan’s Debut As Ouroboros And He Explains Time Slipping

According to OB, the phenomenon happening to Loki is called Time Slipping. However, he doesn’t really explain what it is or why it’s happening.

It all has to do with the Temporal Loom (which is the heart of the TVA) overloading because of the branching timelines. Essentially, the image of the Sacred Timeline and all its branches we’ve been seeing all this time is actually called the Temporal Loom.

It’s unravelling because of the death of He Who Remains.

Loki Meets Sylvie In The Future But Time Slips Back To The Past

When Loki Time Slipped into the future, he meets Sylvie momentarily before Time Slipping back to the past/present. So now, their mission is to find Sylvie, wherever she is, and the TVA is also hot on the heels of Sylvie as well.

Meanwhile, General Dox is out somewhere looking for Sylvie as well.

Loki Season 1 Episode 1 Post Credits Scene

In the Loki Season 2 Episode 1 post-credits scene, we see Sylvie using a time door to visit a McDonald’s in Broxton, Oklahoma in 1982 in a branched timeline. Wonder what she’s doing there?
