The episode begins with the version of 2012’s The Avengers but with Captain Carter instead.
The rest of the episode is essentially a retelling of 2014’s Captain America The Winter Soldier, but with Steve Roger’s HYDRA Stomper in place of Bucky.
Meanwhile, in this universe, Bucky Barnes is now the Secretary Of the World Security Council and SHIELD.
In 2021’s Black Widow, it was Rachel Weisz who played Melina Vostokoff.
The episode ends with Steve sacrificing himself by taking out the Red Room along with Melina.
And it was these two, whoever they are. They’re credited as Councilman Singh and Wanda-Merlin, with Elizabeth Olsen voicing the latter.
Until tomorrow’s episode, excelsior!
