The synopsis reads:

“Loki” Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15 and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.

Loki Keeps Time Slipping To The Original Variants Of His TVA Companions

While time slipping, Loki meets Casey while he’s escaping from Alcatraz as a prisoner and robber, he meets Hunter B-15 as a doctor, he meets Mobius as someone who sells jet skis for a living and he meets OB working at a book store (or as a writer).

Loki Just Wants His Friends Back, Awww

His nakama.

His tomodachi.

Yeah, that’s all this episode is about.

Loki wants to rip his TVA companions from their original variant lives just because he wants his friends back.

Loki Miraculously Learns How To Control His Time Slipping, He’s Becoming The God Of Stories

Loki can now control his time slipping. How convenient.

What’s interesting is that he says he can now “rewrite the story”.

That sounds like a reference to the comics, in which he became the God Of Stories.
